Brandon Stafford | Principal Engineer
Brandon, the managing engineer in the Boston-area office, is a “renaissance man”
and experienced engineering consultant with experience in embedded systems engineering, product design, and project management gained through his work as a mechanical engineer at IDEO and electrical engineer at MindTribe Product Engineering and the Stanford Robotics Lab. His specialties at GreenMountain include embedded systems programming and industrial controls, technical assessment of new energy technologies, and helping our clients develop plans to overcome their engineering challenges. Brandon holds both an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a BA in English from Pomona College. Some of his personal projects
have included converting a Porsche 914 to electric power, building a solar stove that can set wood alight in less than 10 seconds and teaching a course on embedded systems for the International Atomic Energy Agency.
