Founded in 2003 in San Francisco, GreenMountain has become the leading design engineering consultancy serving cleantech companies: from venture-funded startups to industry leaders. The firm’s solar power practice—with clients such as Evergreen Solar, SunPower Corporation and SolFocus—encompasses the entire supply chain, from fundamental technologies and cells to modules and systems.

GreenMountain’s staff of twenty includes mechanical, electrical, chemical and software engineers with experience in industries as diverse as biotechnology, energy, medical devices, nanotech, photonics, semiconductors and power electronics. GreenMountain Engineering offices are located in San Francisco and just outside Boston in Somerville, Massachusetts.
