Our client wanted to pinpoint the sources of manufacturing stress on their solar cells to improve the performance of finished modules in durability testing.
GreenMountain investigated the problem from the factory floor up: testing equipment, collecting data, analyzing processes and redesign-
ing equipment and components. Applying this information to a model
of module performance under stress, we were able to identify the sources of
stress and correctly predict breakage patterns.
By implementing the tools and process improvements identified by GreenMountain, the client was able to rapidly increase yield and de-crease the duration of R&D cycles.
